From 26th November 2025 to 30th January 2026, Poleschi Fine Art is pleased to present “Multiforme. Julio Le Parc e il Gruppo GRAV”, an exhibition dedicated to Julio Le Parc and the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel (GRAV), the collective founded in Paris in 1960 that revolutionized the language of visual art through a participatory, dynamic, and experimental aesthetic.

The exhibition brings together a selection of around forty works, in which Julio Le Parc’s pieces engage in dialogue with those of other leading figures of the GRAV Group, including Horacio Garcia-Rossi, Francisco Sobrino, Joël Stein, and Hugo Demarco. The works span a chronological arc from the 1960s to the early 2000s, documenting the evolution of the artistic explorations carried out by these artists over time.

“Multiforme. Julio Le Parc e il Gruppo GRAV” explores the collective and experimental approach of GRAV, highlighting their investigation into visual perception, movement, light, and the interaction between artwork and viewer. The selected pieces—kinetic, optical, modular—convey the creative energy and participatory intent that fuelled the group’s research.

Alongside the works on display, a “dark room” will complete the exhibition itinerary: an immersive and sensory space designed to offer visitors a direct experience with kinetic works characterized by optical and luminous effects.

The project reflects the plurality of approaches and formal solutions adopted by the artists, giving rise to an ongoing, engaging, and stimulating dialogue, one that underscores their shared pursuit of an “open” art—capable of involving the viewer and transforming them into an active participant.

The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual catalogue featuring a critical essay by Rossella Farinotti, which gathers all the works on view while exploring their historical and theoretical context in greater depth.
